Your First Visit
During your initial consultation with a physiotherapist, you will
undergo a full assessment. This will begin by taking details of
your medical history, previous injuries, occupation, recreational
activities as well as details of your current problem.
An appropriate physical examination will be carried out after
you have given consent. Your physiotherapist will discuss the examination
findings with you and we will then discuss treatment options and
plan a treatment programme.
Please bring with you any hospital notes, correspondence, referral
letters, x-rays, scans and results of any investigations you have
had in the past.
